The creepy. The demented. The unexplained. The unearthly.

Well I got a bit of a break off university, so I thought I should write something. The problem is I really don't know which show to review this time, a lot of great ones have started with new seasons just now - Supernatural, Fringe, The Vampire Diaries, Two and a Half Men, others are continuing, I mean how to choose one... Well The Vampire Diaries I know there will be a lot of people disliking cause of the "vampire hype", Fringe is so puzzling that I think I will have to watch all seasons again to write something. Two and a Half Men I think all of you have watched. This is it, today our theme shall be Supernatural.
When I started watching it, Supernatural already had five seasons, at the beginning I didn't like it very much, but a lot of people were saying it's awesome so I continued to watch. The start (first couple of seasons) are kind of slow, though the story is still there and really very good, it is mostly episode-to-episode action which kind of irritated me. But once it picks up, you can't stop, you want to watch more and more. The monsters are always made great, with lore and stuff, the special effects are outstanding, the way the characters are evolving, oh my... You really get into the show, you almost feel as if you are a "hunter".
In the beginning everything is pretty simple - two brothers - Dean, the bad guy, and Sam - the guy who left the family "bussiness" for school, they don't like each other a lot, have a lot of grunts. But they unite in order to find their missing father. With the progression of the series they become best friends, Sam flings to the dark side from time to time and... I won't say no more, I hate spoilers...
Demons, angles, wendigos, strigas, djins, shapeshifters, arachne, banshee, hellhounds, demi-gods - this is just a small, and I mean a small part of what you will encounter and see in this series. If you like this supernatural stuff - watch it! If don't know if you like supernatural creaturs - watch it! There will be blood, gore and death! Peace guys, I'm out!

Sam Winchester: Why'd you let me fall asleep?
Dean Winchester: Because I am an awesome brother. What did you dream about?
Sam Winchester: Lollipops and candycanes.

Party now, sleep later!

Hello good people! Well the dubstep party killed it, 7+ hours of maximum dubstep, I barely sat down for a couple of minutes, really a killer, god, the only thing I am sorry about is that it's over... It was wild, Borgore was the best, there was even a couple of moshings while he was at the pult (I took a part of course haha). Pure awesomeness. Seriously, I want more, well... Doctor P is soon coming, so I guess it ain't that bad haha. There were some seriosly powerfull speakers at the party, I mean, I was in the front and they were blowing me away lol, I think I might be a bit more deaf than before. Let me just show you what I mean, click the pics for hi-res view.

This is the stage setup, before the parteh, some serious power these bad boys had. It was an epic night, I hope that all people who listen and love dubstep and dnb have been to at least one sick party! I'll leave you some awesome awesome songs, if you haven't heard of dubstep before.

Awesome song with some great vocals. Then I'd like to show you something that isn't dubstep, but is remix from an awesome dubstep-hit track, which those of you who listen to these styles have heard it hundreds of times - the original is Flux Pavilion - Bass Cannon, go listen to it if you haven't (also the video is really cool)!

This is a drumstep redux, which as a style is new to me as well, but it is awesome! Just to note here, that all this is to listened with hard bass (with no subwoofer I am afraid you won't feel the music at its best) and music as loud as you can (MAX)!
Anyways, this blog started as a TV show reviews, but as I'm getting my ass busted at university, I really don't have time to write a quality review right now, this is much easier to write (as it is in my head right now), but I hope y'all guys will like it! I am finishing univesity at 30th, so I don't know if I will be able to write, and how much, but I will try for sure, tell me if you want something specific (music/movies/shows) and if I can I will deliver to you. Peace, I'm out!

Family Guy. Parental Discretion Advised, that's how you know it's good

Well guys, the university is killing me, I'm there 10hours a day, sleeping 5hrs a day tops. But then, I met a lot of new people, including a lot of girls lol. Also tomorrow I am going to a dubstep/dnb party, it will be freaking awesome, Borgore, DJ Fresh, Roni Size and a bunch more. Well anyways, the blog was not supposed to be for me. Here you go, next from the animation reviews.

Family Guy. Before I say anthing, I should state that after its 5th season the quality of the show has gone significantly down. But before that, I don't think a show can get much more awesome. Family Guy is more vulgar than The Simpsons, they are much more disfunctional, as you could let your kids watch The Simpsons (though it's not a kids show, as they can get bad ideas), no parent with any kind of sense will let his kid watch the Family Guy. Generally the setup of the characters is somewhat near to The Simpsons - a retarded husband/dad Peter, beautiful wife Lois, 3 kids, there is also a talking dog Brian. But don't think this is a Simpsons clone, because it's not. It is unique in every single way, it is insulting (if you take it that way), it mocks everything and everyone, there are no limits to its boldness. For start the baby kid Stewie is a evil genious which is trying to kill his mother and in later seasons we understand he (it?) is homosexual. The dog is really the smartest character, probably in the whole show, but has big issues and is often getting wasted on drugs and alcohol. Peter is big time laugh, seems to be a bit retarded and is doing all kinds of crap, he is a big character! The bigger son Chris is taking in his father's footsteps, and the daughter Meg is like the nobody of the show, she is constantly neglected by everyone, she has no special qualities, neither beauty nor brains.
To sum up, do watch this, though if you are easily insulted and don't like mockery of stuff that is generally respected and kind of taboo, you should probably skip Family Guy and stick to The Simpsons. Peace, I'm out.

Interviewer: [Peter is at a job interview] So, Peter, where do you see yourself in ten years?
Peter Griffin: [thinks] Don't say doin' your wife, don't say doin' your wife...
[out loud]
Peter Griffin: Doin' your, er...
[sees photo of interviewer on the beach with his wife and son]
Peter Griffin: ... son?
[interviewer's shocked expression]

The Simpsons! On Your Marks, Get Set, D'Oh!

Today at last I got some free time between the university, the gym and the drinking (which is connected to the university, but don't get me started), so I thought I should write another review at last. First I have to say during these so tense up days the only thing I watched were some animations (for adults of course, and I'll exclude japanese stuff for now). They cheer me up after I'm busted and dead tired with under 5 hours sleep everyday, if you want something light and fun after a long hard day you should go for an something like this, an animation.
And we will review some of these now. Let's start with the dinosaurs in the category, the equivallent of Ali or Tyson in boxing, which have 22 seasons and counting, started in 1989 by the ingenious Matt Groening. If you guessed The Simpsons you were... suprise, suprise... right! I don't know what to say, all of you, I'm sure have seen them at least once or twice on TV. The Simpsons are such a disfunctional family, somehow in a fun way, you will be amazed each episode by the stupid and irresponsible stuff Homer does, the mischiefs of Bart who is a underachiever and proud of it, the hardworking homemaker Marge (which has, seriously, awesome hairstyle lmao), the booksmarts of Lisa, which is a unappreciated genius and all the other characters which are all unique and amusing in a way. All this opposites are put together for a great concoction of fun and awesomeness. And if you watch and think about it a bit deeper you will realise there is a lesson to be learned in almost each episode. This is maybe the animation which you have to start with, though I didn't do that.
Well this is it for now, I will review some other animations soon, just didn't want to give you too big chunks of text at once (as I hate it). If you haven't already watched The Simpsons, I truly suggest you do, you will have loads of great time. Peace, I'm out.
Bart: Can I have a beer?
Homer: All right, but not the imported.
Marge: Homer!
Homer: You've got to set limits, Marge.
Marge: And punish Lisa for lying to us.
Homer: All right, young lady. March yourself right down to the Quik-E-Mart and get me some chips and a beer.

Wilderness and University

Well I haven't made new posts for a few days, because I was out of town, in the vast wilderness haha. It was awesome, I absolutely love the nature, the yet unspoiled pieces of heaven. Anyways, I'm back now and tommorow I'm starting university. It will be my first year, so I am a bit anxious, and don't know what to expect, but I guess I will find out. This means the posts may become trough longer periods, because I don't know when I will have time to post some quality review.
I'm tired like hell so, I will leave you with some nice tracks. The first one is the theme of Death Note, a japanese anime, I know a lot of people don't like these, but the theme is good anyways.

Another great track from True Blood:

And at the end I leave you with a favourite track of mine, even though it hasn't featured in a show or a movie (as far as I know).

I will try to write a review at the first chance I get. For now guys, peace I'm out.

Great shows, great tracks

I thought today I will give you some songs featured in TV shows. There are shows that have chosen some awesome tracks, and the mixture of a high suspence/dramatic scene with a good music track is simply mindblowing, and I mean it 100%. I have found some awesome songs, so I wanted to share them. This might turn into a regular thing if I manage to find more tracks. And here we go.
The first one is from the current season of True Blood:

We've got the second one from the current season of Entourage:

And I'd say last but not at all least, if you ask me the best track, featured in a mindblowing scene of Breaking Bad (this time it isn't from the current season), also in another show I have watched but I can't recall, I think it was The Vampire Diaries:

This is it for now, if you have liked them make sure you drop a comment. Peace, I'm out.

Leverage

Good day people. I've been wondering what show to check out next, and my finger today stopped at Leverage. Leverage is a 40minute show broadcasted on TNT, at the moment the 4th season is ongoing.
This show is different, it is episode-to-episode action 99% of the time there isn't connection between the episodes (apart the actors of course). The background plot is little to non-existent and is developing slower than the creation of a new galaxy. Well then, you might ask, why should I watch it? It's simple, Leverage is a modern version of Robin Hood, instead of a forest we have the city, but we still have the rich "villains" who are stepping all over the normal hard working people. Here come the team to bring them down, and correct any injustice they get to know.
The Robin Hood team consists of five people - Nathan Ford a former insurance agency investigator, he is now the brain of the team, the mastermind, Sophie Devereaux a brilliant grifter, Eliot Spencer who is the hitter, the muscle, he also has a great knowledge of the different (ex)agents, goons and so on, Parker is the thief, a very weird, asocial character, and last but not least is our computer specialist, hacker - Alec Hardison. All of them is supposedly the best in their area, before they worked together they were loners (as most criminals anyways), and in the beginning they will have trouble working in a team, but soon they become the best as a team as well.
The series looks like "The A-team" meets "Mission Impossible" meets "Ocean's 11", it is brilliant. We have fast-paced action, robberies, cons, hi-tech stuff, almost no drama in the main plot (as its near non-existent), great acting by everyone and awesome development of characters, I especially like our mastermind, who has a ton of problems and personal issues as well which at times fuel his fury. There is also a touch of comedy, fun, in almost every episode. Well this is it people, another show worth giving it a shot. Peace, I'm out.

Alec Hardison: How did you know?
Eliot Spencer: You have a tell.
Alec Hardison: I have a tell? In Rock-Paper-Scissors, I have a tell?
